Ruben Amorim explained that he could not get Marcus Rashford “to see football the way you think”.
Rashford left Manchester United in the winter transfer window after being taken over by Amorim in November.
England International has joined the ASSO with AS for the rest of the season with the aim of adjusting the move.
Rashford scored a 3-1 draw in the Rashford Epswich Town in the opening goal of the United Amorim period, though the Red Devils boss was not only seeing the 28-year-old young man.
“I couldn’t [get] To play your football and to visit Marcus to train the way I see, “said Amorim.
“It’s something you feel as a coach and player. This is quite normal. It happened with many coaches.
“The important thing is that I am saying here that it was my decision.”
However, Amorim expects Rashford clicks for Unei Emery in the villa.
Former Sporting CP Boss added, “Sometimes you have a player that is really good with a coach, and the same player is different with the other coach.”
“I only wish the best to Rashford and Emery and they could connect because he was very good player.”
Rashford scored seven goals in all competitions this season, surpassing his 4.45 expected goals.
It has its average average every 214 minutes.
