Ange Postecoglou’s future at Tottenham Hotspur has been called into question in recent weeks as the club have made a poor start to the 2024/25 season.
The north London side currently sit 11th in the Premier League table with just six wins from 15 games and have failed to secure automatic promotion to the Europa League.
Postkoglu quickly won over Spurs fans with his style of play at the start of last season, but as time went on Spurs supporters began to think the former Celtic boss had outgrown him range of abilities.
The Australian coach’s side led Chelsea 2-0 at the weekend but lost 4-2.
It’s moments like this that frustrate Tottenham fans and if things continue like this, Postecoglou may be looking for another job. The 59-year-old plans to improve his results in the second half of the season ahead of the January transfer window.

Postkoglu is reportedly looking to add a new defensive midfielder and winger to his squad in January to help Spurs achieve their goals at the end of the 2024/25 season Football Insider.
The Premier League giants have also been linked with a move to the centre-back in recent weeks due to injury concerns. Bournemouth’s Ilya Zabarny on target.
Spurs are said to be willing to add players in these three key areas in the upcoming window if suitable targets become available.
There is still plenty to play for in north London this season, with Postkoglu’s side still likely to win domestic cup competition, the Europa League and a top-four finish.
The January additions will give the current squad a boost, but the Australian coach will also need to adjust his style of play to make Tottenham’s defense more solid. Spurs have been having huge problems at the back for months and unless that is sorted out, nothing will change.
