One expert believes manager Ruben Amorim is “sick of” one of his Manchester United players because his performances aren’t “good enough”.
Amorim Eric ten Hag, who took over as United manager last month, has had a mixed start at Old Trafford.
He started with a three-match unbeaten run but they lost two games in a row to Arsenal and Nottingham Forest in the Premier League.

Manchester United are expected to undergo an overhaul in 2025, with Marcus Rashford expected to be one of the casualties of Amorim’s rebuild.

Former Premier League striker Troy Deeney believes Amorim is “tired” of Rashford, who has been slammed for his poor “application”.
“Marcus Rashford looks like he has the weight of the world on his shoulders,” Deeney wrote in a column for The Sun.
“It’s always the other person’s fault and his application was terrible.
“He still has the quality to get through some moments. I wouldn’t be surprised if he scores the winner against Manchester City this weekend and then disappears over the next few weeks.

“He knows he can live off these ‘moments’ and that’s it, but it’s not good enough. It’s the same old cycle.
“When a new manager comes in, in three out of four games you see a ‘new Rashford’ and then he’s back to his old ways and form.
‘Then he started getting left behind. We saw that on Thursday night when United boss Ruben Amorim looked fed up with him after being substituted against Vitoria Plzen.
‘Look, I’ve been there. When this happens, it’s not good. As a striker you want to stay and build some momentum but I was at the Emirates Stadium last week when he came on against Arsenal. He is a disgrace.
“Amorim summed it up best when he told Rashford he would have full support but it would depend on him as a player, as a person.
‘That’s the problem. No one wants Rashford to fail but if he continues to perform sub-par then we will all continue to say the same thing.
