The Indian women’s cricket team will take on the West Indies in the first of a three-match T20I series on Sunday at the DY Patil Stadium in Navi Mumbai.
After three 20-plus matches, both teams will play a three-match ODI series on December 22 in Vadodara, Gujarat.
The team led by Harmanpreet Kaur will be looking to start the series with a victory and forget about the whitewash they suffered at the hands of the Australians Down Under.
For the Windies, it would be the first action after a quite successful T20 World Cup, in which they failed to reach the semi-finals, losing by eight runs to eventual champions New Zealand.
