Stuart Pearce believes Pep Guardiola could eventually be advised by “close family members” to resign as Manchester City manager if their poor form continues.

Guardiola signed a new contract during the November international break and said he would not resign this week, but suggested he could be sacked.

In a rather bizarre assessment, Pierce said talk about sports Guardiola can count on the support of several family members to tell him that maybe it’s time to call it a day.
“This is employment, this is career,” he began. “You have to be happy in the workplace and he might ask for help from one or two of his close family members who might say, ‘Pep, come on, you’re not the same person anymore, it’s time Have you taken the first step? ‘”

“That’s what I can call a result. I think City will find something in their championship mentality and make sure they don’t get beaten in this game.
“Whether they thought the draw would be a very even result for both teams, that might be the case. They would both probably get a little bit.
“They might think ‘To be honest, this isn’t going to help either of us.'”
