Kerala Blasters confirmed on Monday that they have sacked head coach Mikael Stahre following their poor performance in the 2024-25 Indian Super League.
The club also confirmed that assistant coaches Bjorn Wesstrom and Frederico Pereira Morais have left their positions with immediate effect.
Kerala Blasters is currently 10th in the table with 11 points after 12 outings and has only won three matches so far.
“The club sincerely thanks Mikael, Björn and Frederico for their contributions throughout their time at Kerala Blasters FC. We wish them every success in their future endeavors,” Kerala Blasters said in their official statement.

The club said a new coach would be announced in due course. Until then, KBFC reserve team head coach and youth development head Tomasz Tchórz and assistant coach TG Purushothaman will be responsible for managing the first team.
Kerala, who last won (3-0) against Chennaiyin FC on November 24, are currently on a three-game losing streak, losing 1-0 to FC Goa, 4-2 to Bengaluru FC and 3-2 to the defending shield winners. Super-G Mohun Bagan.
