Amad Diallo (Manchester United): It was really difficult to pick strikers this week, but Amad Diallo was the only one who did it without hesitation. He was excellent, turned the Manchester derby upside down. He seems to be improving as a young man.
All the noise around Alejandro Garnacho and Marcus Rashford gives the impression that Diallo is just going about his business and consistently delivering, which is what it’s all about.
Ismaila Sarr (Crystal Palace): When I played with him at Watford he was a winger, but at Palace they play him as a 10 and he will show people what a good player he is.
He’s also the fastest person I’ve ever played with. On his second goal he made it five yards to Lewis Dunk and was about 15 yards ahead at the finish. Incredible finish and great to see him miss and fly at Palace.
Jacob Murphy (Newcastle): To be completely honest, I never thought I’d make a Team of the Week where we’d talk about Jacob Murphy. That’s probably the best compliment I can give him. He plays so well that I have to praise him. Two goals on the weekend, great performance.
Alexander Isak (Newcastle): Currently the best striker in the Premier League. Yes, I said it and yes, I stand by it. He is a complete striker. Unreal. Every time I watch him I wonder how is it possible that Arsenal didn’t sign him?
He’s a really good player and performer. He’s a poacher, but he’s also a great player. You don’t see many silky poachers.
