Matheus Cunha: Wolves striker charged with misconduct by FA

Matheus Cunha has been charged with inappropriate conduct by the Football Association following Wolves’ 2-1 defeat to Ipswich on Saturday.

Brazilian striker who scored the equalizer for Wolves at Molineux, “allegedly behaved inappropriately” during the confrontation between the two sides after the final whistle.

Post-match footage shows Cunha elbowing an Ipswich security guard in the back of the head before pulling his glasses off his face.

The 25-year-old has until December 19 to respond to the allegations.

Following the defeat, which was Wolves’ eleventh Premier League defeat this season, the club sacked manager Gary O’Neil and his staff.
