2024 NFL Coach of the Year odds: O’Connell passes Campbell after Lions loss

Like player rewards, NFL Coach of the Year is a race where the odds will change throughout the season.

As the season progresses, the race becomes more and more hot. Let’s check out the latest odds on DraftKings Sportsbook for December 17.

2024-25 NFL Coach of the Year Odds:

Kevin O’Connell, Vikings: +110 (bet $10 to win $21 total)
Dan Campbell, Crosses: +250 (bet $10 to win $35 total)
Sean Payton, Bronco: +350 (bet $10 to win $45 total)
And Quinn, Commanders: +550 (bet $10 to win $65 total)
Mike Tomlin, Steel workers: +1200 (bet $10 to win $130 total)

Just a few weeks ago this race was as close as a prize race could be, and last week it seemed like Campbell was starting to separate himself from the pack.

After the Lions won their 11th straight in Week 14 with a 34-31 victory over the rival Packers, Campbell’s stock increased from +120 to -175.

However, a Week 15 loss in Detroit dropped Campbell’s odds to +250, potentially due to a costly onside kick call.

O’Connell was second last week, but he has now moved from +400 to +110 and is at the top of the odds table. His Vikings won seven in a row.

Also moving up the standings is Sean Payton, whose Broncos team won for the fourth straight season in Week 15, increasing his odds from +750 to +350.

Finally, the Steelers’ Week 15 loss bumped Mike Tomlin’s stock from +500 to +1200.
