Reigning champions Manchester City had the biggest cut, with the overall value of his squad dropping by €71 million, with Kevin de Bruyne, Jack Grealish and Phil Foden receiving significant cuts. The other way round, Chelsea The team received the biggest reinforcement (53.5 million euros) due to their impressive form under Enzo Maresca, and the team from Stamford Bridge were fighting hard for the title. The biggest winners of the Premier League market value update
Palmer had a stunning breakthrough last season, but that form has continued, with the England international becoming a driving force behind Chelsea’s success under Maresca. The 22-year-old has scored 17 goals in 18 league matches this season and was fully rested in the Europa Conference League. Palmer’s valuation increased from €90 million to €130 million, and he started 2024 with just €45 million.
