Christian Kist thanks to his bewilderment, he made one lucky fan come out for Christmas nine Wednesday evening in 2025 PDC World Darts Championships. Thanks to Paddy Power’s Bigger180 campaign, Kist himself, Prostate Cancer UK and a fan in the crowd are now £60,000 richer.
After being selected from the crowd by Master of Ceremonies John McDonald, the happiest darts fan in the world spoke to the media to describe his immediate reaction to winning £60,000.

“I’m honestly speechless,” says Kris, a railway worker from Sutton. “I didn’t expect this to happen to me and yes, I’m just speechless! I’m still shaking and I can’t believe it.
“I’m a big fan of darts. I came here probably 10 years ago with my brother and grandfather, who I’m here with tonight, but I haven’t been back since. It was a birthday present, so it all worked out that much better,” he continues. “My grandpa also bought me tickets and I’m with him, so that makes it even sweeter, right.”
Understandably, Kris now has a new favorite darts player, namely former Lakeside champion Kist. “Absolutely yes!” – he says with a radiant smile. “100% (Currently Kist’s biggest fan.).”
Now the question is how to spend this money. “Me and my partner literally moved into an apartment this year, so maybe we’ll add some mortgage money, maybe a nice vacation? I don’t know,” he laughs, still a little incredulous. “That’s a lot of money, so yes, it’s something to think about!”
