Leeds United could replace striker Patrick Bamford in January for a £4million move they have been tracking for some time, according to a new report.

The Aston Villa winger is expected to be recalled from his loan spell at Stockport County, where he impressed before being loaned out again to the Championship side. It has been revealed that Leeds United are interested in signing Ben Godfrey, but this looks to be a difficult deal and will have to wait until the summer as promotion to the Premier League needs to be finalized before a deal can be done. The defender has struggled since joining Atalanta and, in addition to Leeds, a number of Premier League sides are also considering a possible signing.
Leeds United now have £4m transfer plan to replace Bamford
According to the Daily Mail, Leeds United considering signing Dole Tugman to replace Bamforda winger/forward who plays for Maccabi Tel Aviv. Bamford has been with Leeds United since 2018 and has made eight league appearances for the Whites this season, without starting any games as injuries continue to affect his playing time.
Bamford is contracted until 2026, but with his playing time not being as regular as Falke would have liked, Leeds are considering the idea of replacing him come January.
The report states that Leeds want to strengthen their forward line so that they can maintain their promotion targets, while also giving them another option if Bamford leaves in January. Tugman has been at Leeds United for some time and has impressed the club’s scouts.
Reports emerged earlier this month that Leeds United had made contact with Tugman for a fee of around £4 million and are currently considering whether to move forward with plans to sign the striker. Leeds are indeed considering other options but Tegman, 21, is considered a promising talent with a high ceiling.
