Gianluigi Donnarumma has given an update on social media following his injury scare against Monaco on Wednesday.
The Italian guard wrote on X: ‘Tutto bene’, which roughly translates to ‘everything is fine’, above a photo of him smiling on his sofa with a large plaster over his face.
Donnarumma saved an effort from Wilfried Singo in the first half of the match at the Stade Louis II.
Singo’s boot hit him in the face after the save, causing multiple injuries to his face.
The 25-year-old required treatment after the collision, but was eventually forced to be replaced by Matvey Safonov in the 22nd minute.
Donnarumma reportedly required 10 staples after a cut to his right cheek and left the pitch following treatment. PSGIts medical staff.

The Italian goalkeeper was hit in the face by the boot of Monaco defender Wilfred Singo.
Donnarumma was forced off after 22 minutes and required 10 staples after the injury.
“Sending our best wishes to Gizio, who suffered a serious facial injury and had to leave the match in the first half,” PSG wrote on social media.
Singo avoided a challenge penalty from referee Francois Letexier for challenging Donnarumma.
Monaco defender Désire Duque escaped a second yellow card having already been booked in the 14th minute for a foul.
After the game, Singo took to social media to apologize for the incident, which he insisted was unintentional, and wished Donnarumma a smooth recovery.
‘My gesture was obviously not intentional, but I could see later that he had a significant injury to his face,’ he wrote, in a message posted in both French and Italian. ‘I wish you well.’
