Thursday’s clash was high on drama but short on defensive quality, a match that left those watching at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium in utter awe.

It wasn’t just the fans, however, with Agbonlahor doing Spurs’ ‘clown-like’ defending. Man u.

“It was like two sets of clowns playing off each other. Defensively… Spurs going forward were very good,” said the former Aston Villa striker talksport Friday

Manchester United woke up a bit in the second half thanks to some mistakes by Forster, but defending, wow.

“I hammered Southampton’s defence, but wow. I don’t blame Forster at all, I blame the manager and the rest of the players.”

Regarding Forster’s misjudged performance, Agbonlahor continued: “Forster, how long has he been around, he’s 37. He was always a shot-stopper, he was never a defender to play with his feet.

“I’ve played with a lot of goalkeepers that if they played now they’d be just like Forster. They don’t want it.”
