Jeffrey de Zwaan failed to advance to the second round in 2025 PDC World Darts Championships on Saturday evening. The Dutchman couldn’t help himself Florian Hempel and lost in sets 3:1. Several angry gamblers later decided to add salt to the Dutchman’s wounds, which triggered a barrage of insults against De Zwaan.
The Dutchman received several messages on his Instagram. In them, De Zwaan was called a rotten fish because the “Black Cobra” lost the match, causing bettors to lose money.
De Zwaan then decided to share some of these posts on his social media and responded to his “fan mail” in a special way. “If only these people met me in real life lol,” he wrote in his post. “I would certainly get a lot of pleasure out of it,” he wrote.
