Manchester United kept Christian Eriksen And Victor Lindelof For sale ahead of the January transfer window, according to reports.

Football transfer expert Fabrizio Romano said both players were deemed surplus to requirements GiveMeSport.

The duo, who are out of contract at the end of the season, have battled for regular minutes under new head coach Ruben Amorim.

Lindelof has made 268 appearances for United since joining the Red Devils from Benfica in 2017.

United paid around £30.7m to sign the Sweden international centre-back, aged 31, this summer.
