Littler was a fan of this club since he was a child, so it is an absolute honor that they would replace the stadium after him.

Warrington Wolves, a rugby club that plays the Super League, the highest level in Great Britain, renamed at the Halliwell Jones stadium “The Luke Littler Stadium” to the match opening the competition.

Karl Fitzpatrick, CEO of Warrington Wolves, said: “Luke’s achievements on the world stage were unbelievable and we are extremely proud of celebrating his success thanks to this special return.

“He is a real fan of Warrington, so changing the name of our stadium in his honor for our home opener is the right tribute.”

Littleler was still competing in Winmau World Masters last weekend, where he lost 4-2 with ionny Clayton in the quarter-finals.
