Following last week’s ‘Legends Week’ which was won by Richie Howson, it’s another regular week of competition for the team MODUS Super series scheduled for this week. After the first day, Adam Sewada is in the lead. The American won all five matches and thus now has 10 points, two more than his nearest rival.
The MODUS Super Series is a weekly tournament in which 12 players compete from Monday to Friday for a place in the final group, which takes place on Saturday evening. The player who finishes first after three sessions qualifies directly for the finals on Saturday evening. On the final night, players compete in a small group stage followed by semi-finals and finals to determine the weekly winner.
The competition begins again next week, with twelve new players vying for the title. After twelve weeks of competition, all weekly winners take part in ‘Champions’ Week’, which takes place every thirteen weeks to determine the winner of the series and the winner who will claim the top prize of £20,000.
Bradly Roes in action
Sevada is impressive
On Monday, the first day of competition in the first week of Super Series 10 took place. Adam Sevada was definitely the strongest, winning all his matches. In his debut, he also averaged 110. Jack Tweddell is in second place with eight points. In third place is Scott Taylor with six points, followed by Gary Stone with four points. Arne Spee is second to last with two points, and Dutchman Bradly Roes is, for now, pointlessly last.
Today is the second day of the MODUS Super Series in Group A, which is another chance for Roes to get his first victory and perhaps move up the rankings.
