Adrian Lewis rolls back the years with victory over Raymond van Barneveld in final of event in Boston

Adrian Lewis was at his best on Saturday night at an exhibition tournament in Boston, England. “Jackpot” dealt with an old rival Raymond van Barneveld in the final.

Apart from Lewis, Scott Williams, Simon Whitlock AND Phil Taylor they were also at this event. Phil Taylor did not compete in the tournament, but did conduct a Q&A with the audience in attendance. Both semi-finals played the full seven games. Van Barneveld won 4-3 against Williams, while Lewis managed to beat Whitlock by the same score. The final was much less exciting. Lewis won the title, defeating “Barney” 5-1.

Many of the world’s top players play exhibitions during this period. Not primarily for some nice extra pocket money, but also to keep the match rhythm going before the World Darts Championships.
