Wessel Nijman signed a new contract with Mission darts. Nijman has been cooperating with this dart producer since spring 2023.
The Dutchman had an unforgettable debut year on the PDC circuit in 2024. He won his first title of PDC rankings, and during the first year the route cards have already lay down to the 64 best world rankings.
Nijman strengthened his status of one of the best talents of this sport, winning the season ranking season. In the season, Nijman won seven development route titles.
This also brought him the entrance to the great slam of darts. There, Nijman drew attention to a strange tournament average of 107, but interestingly, he lost all three group matches. In December, Nijman recorded his first victory in Alexander Palace and reached the second round of World Darts Championship.
Meanwhile, Nijman moved to the 55th place in PDC Order of Merit. In the upcoming season, Nijman does not have to defend any prizes yet, which means that he can really only transfer global rankings. Nijman willingly continues this mission with the support of the mission.
“I am very happy to be here and extend the mission contract. I think 2024 could not be much better than it was, not only as I played, but where I am now in the rankings.
“At the moment I am in more large tournaments than last year. I want to try to play as many large tournaments and events from the Euro this year, play as much as possible and try to get better results than 2024. “
