Manchester United’s poor form this season has come under scrutiny.
Arguably, this has been the story of Manchester United every season as they have struggled to find success following the retirement of legendary manager Sir Alex Ferguson.
Their players’ performances have been so inconsistent that they are often blamed for the club’s manager losing his job.
One of the most talked about players is forward Marcus Rashford.
The England striker, who scored his first goal of the Ruben Amorim era at the club, came under intense scrutiny after reports emerged. Manchester United decide to sell him next year.
The teenager is entering his ninth season at the club but still feels a long way from reaching his full potential.
Football pundit Alan Shearer was surprised by Rashford, who was at the top of his game two seasons ago but has failed to replicate that form since.
while speaking MirrorShearer questioned the player and the coaches he had worked with at the club.
“I don’t know him personally. I saw him scoring 30 goals a season three years ago, so it’s there, but we haven’t seen anything close to that number for a long time.” Shearer said.

“I don’t know if there was anything going on in his life or anything like that.
“Only two people can answer that question, his coaching and his attitude, performance and belief. His performances haven’t been there for a while and he’s gone from there to there in such a short space of time, so obviously something’s not right. .
“I don’t know why he went from where he was three years ago to where he is now, but I don’t see a happy player. My guess was wrong, I don’t know what’s going on around him.”
Manchester United to sell Marcus Rashford?
The 27-year-old just scored 7 goals in the Premier League last season and he has scored 4 goals in the league so far this season.
A player of his quality and potential should do better, but United don’t have a manager who can consistently bring out the best in him.
The player may be sold by the club while the club looks for new options in the market to provide Amorim with the right platform to succeed at the club.
Since the arrival of the Portuguese coach, Rashford has been in and out of the team. Judging from the coach’s selection, he does not think highly of the player.
