Yoro tells Rio Ferdinand presents podcast: “I have a good relationship with Ruben Amorim. I just tried to do what he asked me to do.

“He communicates with players very much because he plays at the highest level. He has been in a lot of clubs, so when you don’t play games or play badly, he knows how you feel. He knows how to talk to you , this is really important to me.

“In training, I would say, it’s really hard. But it’s important. We have a lot of training and for him, training is really important because you play games like you do.

“The most important thing is to do well in training. If you don’t work, if you’re lazy in training, he won’t like you – he will kill you! It’s normal because yes, you’re like training Play.

“He’s very strict with it because to win games and trophys you need to be disciplined off the court. You need to be punctual.”

He added: “We have a group on WhatsApp. They sent clips of the forwards, their moves, their runs, they were running, with all the defenders.

“I have a guy who does do a lot of editing on strikers, let me know. What I want to say is, to understand the intelligence of the game – you know, the players, how to press them how to move. All this stuff, the clip outside the court You know, learn games.

“I feel stressed, man. Like, when I go anywhere, I think everyone is talking about prices and expectations. But the place I’m safe is the training ground on the court.

“I came to Manchester United at a huge price, yes, the pressure is here. People talk a lot, and today, social media is really in our lives.

“Every day, you go to social media and you can see your name – sometimes it’s good news, sometimes it’s bad news. But yes, when I went to the training ground with my teammates, I just forgot everything. Just go to the court I’m very happy to train.

“I don’t search for my name on Twitter or Instagram, so I can’t even see my name on social media.

“I try not to see it, even if it’s good. Of course, if I see something good, maybe my confidence will increase a little.

“But if I see something bad, that’s it. I can’t change anything, so it won’t change my confidence.”
