After their latest victory, Liverpool boss Arne Slott was asked to sum up Mo Salah’s latest contribution in a red shirt. The Dutchman was full of praise for Salah, admitting he is a truly “special” footballer:
“Exceptional is the word that can be used to describe Mo’s performance at this club.” Slaughter said. “The best, or maybe there’s a better word to use, but he’s been outstanding for so many years at this club so he still is.
“When Mo goes one-on-one he has a good chance of scoring. But this goal tells you why we are top of the league and why we do so well, the player who regained the ball before Curtis passed the ball to Mo The productivity tells you why we’re doing so well.”
Liverpool are top of both the Premier League and Champions League table and Reds fans are now convinced they can win some big trophies in Arne Slott’s first season in charge at Anfield.
