Newcastle United are reportedly preparing to compete with Arsenal and Liverpool for the signing of West Ham winger Mohamed Kudus.
West Ham signed Kudus from Ajax in August 2023 for around £39 million.
The Ghana international has been a standout player for the Hammers and could cost the team twice as much if he left.

This ultimately did not materialize and Kudus moved to the London Stadium in the 2023 summer transfer window, scoring eight goals and assisting six in 33 Premier League games last season.
Five goals in nine Europa League games has done little to damage his reputation and there is believed to be plenty of transfer interest.
He had a rather slow start to the 2024/25 season, missing from 27 October after being shown a red card for violent conduct 68 minutes after scoring in West Ham’s 4-1 loss to Tottenham Hotspur. Five games on November 30th.

Arsenal could provide some depth with Bukayo Saka, while Kudus’s versatility makes him an excellent option both centrally and on the left wing, And Liverpool may have to replace Mohamed Salah at the end of the season.
Both sides appear to be interested in signing the former Ajax star, Newcastle Eddie Howe has joined the fray as he prioritizes adding a right-wing attacker.

West Ham United has an asking price of 90 million pounds for Kudus, and Kudus has a summer release clause of 85 million pounds.
But Johnny Heitinga, assistant manager at Arsenal and Premier League leaders Liverpool, has worked with the Ghanaian at Ajax and West Ham United and the Hammers’ resolve could be tested next month.
Toon scouts have tracked the 24-year-old Kudus’ progress since he was a teenager at Danish side FC Nordsjaelland and were keen on him ahead of his £38m move to the London Stadium from Ajax 16 months ago interested.
