Arteta speaks
Mikel Arteta says there is no disappointment despite his side’s flat display, but admits they have plenty to improve on.
He said to Prime Sport, “Disappointment if you win? No! Things to improve, yes!
“We gave the ball back to David [Raya] From the restart and was in trouble and gave them some speed.
“Then we give some simple balls that give them a chance to gain some confidence and win some set pieces without creating anything.
“You look at the first half and the stats were remarkable. We have to get used to it and we are used to it.
“To their credit, they are very organized. We have not restricted them at all.”
More from Havertz
With the team going forward without Bukayo Saka, Kai Havertz told Prime Sport: “I try to help the team, it was a different role for me today.
“Everyone has to step up because we know Bukayo Saka is a very important player for us. But we have to adapt.
“Home games are very important to us and we feel the energy. All together, we are one football club. To win football matches, the players, the fans, everyone has to raise their level.”
