New Zealand pacer Tim Southee finished just shy of reaching 100 sixes in Test cricket after being dismissed for just two in his last appearance in this format against England in Hamilton on Monday.
Southee finished his career with 98 sixes, the fourth most in the history of Test cricket, level with West Indies’ Chris Gayle.
Brendon McCullum is the only New Zealand batsman to have smashed more sixes than Southee.
England captain Ben Stokes leads the list with 133, followed by McCullum and Australian Adam Gilchrist (100) who have reached 100 Test sixes.
