WPL 2025 Auction: Who is Prema Rawat, the spinner bought by RCB for Rs. 1.20 crore?

Promising Uttarakhand player Prema Rawat has been signed by Royal Challengers Bengaluru for a staggering amount of Rs. 1.2 crore at the WPL 2025 mini auction in Bengaluru on Sunday.

Rawat, which started with a base price of Rs. 10 lakh, attracted huge interest from Delhi Capitals, forcing RCB to increase its offer beyond the one-crore mark.

Rawat rose to fame after playing for Mussorie Thunders as they won the title in the inaugural match of the Uttarakhand Premier League. She scored four goals in three matches, while also impressing with her field skills.

RCB already has pacer Asha Sobhana in its ranks. However, considering the Indian international’s injuries, Rawat can be expected to play a big role in the upcoming season.
