Mohammedan Sporting will be hoping to regroup and pull themselves up from the bottom of the rankings when they host reigning Indian Super League (ISL) Cup winners Mumbai City FC in their ISL Match Week 12 – 11 match at the Kishore Bharati Stadium in Kolkata on Sunday.
It will be a match full of contrasts as Mumbai City will enter the match in relatively good form. This will be the first match of the tournament between both the teams and Mumbai City has a better record against their new ISL opponents.
Mohammedan SC are still looking for their first home win in their debut season. He has played five home matches so far and faced disappointment as he was unable to keep a clean sheet at home.
Mumbai City is currently in ninth place with 14 points from 10 matches and will be looking to regain their winning spirit (after playing their last match goalless against Odisha FC) to improve their position in the table.
