Rithvik Sanjeevi Satish Kumar won the men’s singles title at the BWF Tour Super 100 Odisha Masters held in Cuttack on Sunday.
In the all-India final, Rithvik defeated Tharun Mannepalli 21-18, 21-16 in 43 minutes. World number 78 Rithvik won the Telangana International Challenge earlier this year.
In the women’s singles final, 16-year-old Tanvi Sharma lost 21-14, 21-16 to Chinese qualifier Cai Yan Yan in 35 minutes. Cai defeated Anmol Kharb, another young Indian, to win the title last week at the Guwahati Masters.
The mixed doubles competition was won by China’s Gao Jia Xuan and Tang Rui Zhi. Japan’s Nanako Hara and Riko Kiyosa won the women’s doubles, and China’s Huang Di and Liu Yang won the men’s doubles.
