2024/25 Runaway Ligue 1 leaders Paris St Germain won 3-1 at home to Olympique Lyonnais thanks to early goals from Ousmane Dembele and Vitinha and a late Goncalo Ramos shot on Sunday in a match that was temporarily suspended due to offensive chanting fans .
PSG has 37 points after 15 games, seven ahead of second placed Olympique Marseille. Lyon is fifth with 25 points.
The capital club opened the scoring after eight minutes, when Desire Doue made a phenomenal run and passed the ball to Dembele, who calmly finished into the goal.
The hosts increased their lead after 14 minutes when Corentin Tolisso fouled Doue and Vitinha converted the penalty.
However, Lyon’s Georges Mikautadze pulled the ball out five minutes before the break after a brilliant pass and calmly put the ball into the net from the center of the penalty area.

Doue thought he had scored in the 52nd minute, but his shot was ruled out for offside.
Moments later, the referee temporarily suspended the game due to offensive and homophobic chanting from PSG fans in the stands, which resulted in a warning being displayed on the stadium screen.
“The match may be interrupted or even lost for the club,” we read in the statement.
PSG captain Achraf Hakimi and Vitinha approached the fans to urge them to stop, prompting loud boos, before play resumed after a few minutes.
Ramos completed PSG’s victory with a third goal two minutes from time, shortly after coming on as a substitute.
