World Cup winner Spain will face Italy, Belgium and Portugal in the group stage of the Euro 2025 women’s tournament after the draw took place on Monday in Lausanne.
Reigning European champions and 2023 World Cup runners-up, England were drawn alongside France, the Netherlands and Wales, who will make their main final debut.
In the 2022 edition, England triumphed over Germany in the final, winning 2-1. Ella Toone and Chloe Kelly scored for the Three Lionesses, helping the team win their first major trophy.
The 2025 edition will be held in Switzerland from July 2–27. This will be the first time the country will host the tournament. The host country is in Group A along with Norway, Iceland and Finland.
