Australia had to cope with a depleted bowling attack following Josh Hazlewood’s latest injury during the third Test at the Gabba on Tuesday.
The speedster suffered a strain in his right calf and, according to a press release from Cricket Australia, “will miss the remainder of the current Test”.
The statement further added: “He is likely to miss the remainder of the Test series. There will be a change in the line-up in due course.”
Hazlewood, who missed the second Test in Adelaide with a side strain, bowled six overs during the Indian innings, including the scalp of Virat Kohli.
