The Indian batsman scored 14 in the first innings and added 43 in the second innings. Kohli was dismissed by Bhuvneshwar Kumar in both the innings as Delhi conceded defeat by six wickets.
Kohli made his Ranji Trophy debut in 2006 against Tamil Nadu. He represented Delhi in 23 Ranji matches, scoring 1574 runs at an average of 50.77.
The 36-year-old was earlier added to Delhi’s provisional squad for the Ranji match against Saurashtra in Rajkot. However, Kohli informed the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) of his unavailability due to a neck sprain that required him to take an injection.
