Atletico Madrid reserved its place in the last 16 Champions League with the highest eight and automatic qualification after the decisive 4-0 victory over RB Salzburg on Wednesday, including the double from Antoine Griezmann.
The victory left the fifth place of Atletico in the classification, and its opponents in the next round will be set after Play -Ffs.
Salzburg, 34 and third from below, leaves the competition with only three points from eight games.
Giuliano Simeone, son of coach Diego Simeone, began Atletico at the start of dreams, opening the scoring on the right arrow in the first five minutes, supported by Julian Alvarez.
The 22-year-old winger was instrumental again eight minutes later, sending a brilliant cross that Griezmann converted. The Frenchman hit a part -time one, ending the counterattack of Samuel Lino.

Leverkusen removes Sparta to take sixth place
