Atalanta director warning no stars will be sold in January 2025

Atalanta director Tony D’Amico has warned teams interested in Ademola Lookman, Ederson, Charles de Ketelare and more that they are fully willing to ‘maintain a full squad’ in January.

Their trip to Lazio kicks off at the Stadio Olimpico at 19.45 GMT.

The January transfer window opens later this week and Atalanta have A number of stars are being targeted by the Premier League giantsIncluding Ederson, De Ketelair and 2024 African Player of the Year Lookman.

However, D’Amico assured that the Bergamo side – one of the few in Italy to run at a regular profit – has no intention of selling.

“Obviously, the January transfer window is tough for all clubs. If there’s an opportunity we’ll go for them, but obviously we’ll keep the full squad we have at the moment.”

Manchester United, Liverpool and Manchester City have all been linked with midfielder Ederson, with Liverpool also eyeing Lookman.

Arsenal are also keeping a close eye on De Keteler.
