It remains to be seen whether Liverpool will be content to shorten Doak’s spell at Boro, but it could be tempting for them to allow the Scotland international to play regularly in the top flight.
Doke himself is said to be keen on the chance to play in the Premier League, so this could present a perfect opportunity for him.
Ben Dok to watch from Crystal Palace in January?

Doak will surely be interested in him soon if he continues to play like this, but for now it looks like Palace are leading the race for his signature.
The report also states that LFC have the option to recall Doke mid-season, so they have that option if it suits all parties.
Still, Middlesbrough will surely be keen to avoid losing a key player in the middle of a campaign where they themselves will be aiming for promotion to the top flight.
It will be interesting to see if they can convince Doak to stay and return to the club in the Premier League next year.
