Arsenal appear to be leading the race for the transfer of RB Leipzig striker Benjamin Cesko, according to journalist Ben Jacobs.
The Gunners were alongside Chelsea and Manchester United in pursuit of Cesc Last summer, when he finally decided to stay at Leipzig for at least one more year.
However, it seems that time Cesco picks up Arsenal’s project As more tempting than Chelsea or Man United, Jacobs said talksport.
It’s still not 100% clear if this means the Slovenia international will make the same decision again this summer, but Jacobs suggests it’s good news for those at the Emirates Stadium.
Arsenal look like they really need a top signing like Cesc, with some uncertainty over whether playing as a number 9 is the best role for Kai Havertz in the long term, with Gabriel Jesus currently expected to be out with a long-term injury. the time
Good news for Arsenal in pursuit of Benjamin Cesko

Cescco seems the ideal target to solve Arsenal’s problems, although it’s certainly easy to see why the likes of Chelsea and United want the 21-year-old.
Still, Mikel Arteta has done a great job at Arsenal, so their project is clearly the strongest of the three at the moment.
“The good news for Arsenal is that last summer when the project was pitched from Arsenal, Chelsea and Man United, Cesc chose Arsenal and then it is now a secondary choice whether to stay in Leipzig or not,” Jacobs said.
Still, the problem for AFC now is that, despite their strong interest, it doesn’t look like it will be easy to get a deal done for Cesco in the middle of the season.
“It’s going to take a crazy offer or it’s going to be impossible in January because Leipzig’s position is very strong,” Jacobs added.
