Bettinardi’s Golf
It’s gear release season and the number of new clubs continues to grow.
The latest version is from Bettinardi golfwhich presented the new HLX 6.0 forged wedges.
HLX 6.0 are the latest wedges from a company that became famous for producing precisely milled putters. Bettinardi is slowly expanding into the wedge and iron space, and the HLX 6.0 is the company’s latest take on its forged wedge line.
Here are three things you should know about Bettinardi Golf’s HLX 6.0 forged wedges:
Carbon steel
The HLX 6.0 wedges feature a forged 1020 carbon steel head for softness and responsiveness.
“By forging our HLX 6.0 wedges from mild carbon steel instead of cast steel, we deliver the premium feel that both consumers and Tour players have come to expect from the Bettinardi name,” Robert Bettinardi, CEO and founder of Bettinardi Golf, said in a press release. “Since launching our line of forged wedges in 2014, each generation has continued to evolve with new finishes, lofts, cuts and cutting-edge technology, solidifying Bettinardi as a trusted leader in the wedge category.”
The forged carbon steel head allows for better interaction with the turf and better ball feel.
The HLX 6.0 wedges have an improved RJ cut, which provides the wedge with greater relief from the heel and toe.
Helix grooves
To provide the spin, control and precision that players demand from their wedges, Bettinardi Golf has equipped the HLX 6.0 forged wedges with the latest version of Helix Cut grooves.
Bettinardi HLX 6.0 forged wedges have narrower groove spacing, which gives them greater spin and promotes a lower launch trajectory.
Options, price and availability
Bettinardi Golf offers the HLX 6.0 forged wedges with a chrome and graphite PVD finish. They are available for right- and left-handed golfers.
