Bryson DeChambeau will face him a little later today along with Brooks Koepka in the Crypto.com Showdown when they both take on Rory McIlroy and Scottie Scheffler at Shadow Creek Golf Club in Las Vegas.
The match will begin with the first six holes played in a Fourball format, the middle third in a Foursome format, and the last six holes will be played in a singles format.
Before the event, the four men took part in a public session promoting the event, during which Bryson DeChambeau delivered a quick punch to his rival Rory McIlroy.
“I would like to face Bryson and try to get him back for what he did to me at the US Open,” McIlroy says in the video published by LIV Golf.
Bryson’s response? “Well, to be honest, you kind of did it to yourself,” referring to Rory’s heartbreaking finish, which consisted of multiple missed short putts.

Ouch.
“Um, I really don’t know where to go,” was all Rory could offer in response.
