Bills to debut new NFL uniform combination against Patriots

BUFFALO, N.Y. — The Buffalo Bills new threads appear just before the holiday season.

For the Week 16 matchup with New England Patriotsthe team announced Tuesday morning that the Bills will be wearing a new uniform combination.

The Bills will wear red jerseys, white pants, red socks and a white helmet. This is not the first time the team has worn a red jersey, as it is the team’s colorful jersey that is usually worn with red pants. This year, however, the red jerseys will be worn with the team’s typical white pants.

Bills quarterbacks wore the combination during the team’s annual practice at the stadium, but never during an actual game. Despite the quarterback Josh Allen showing alternative helmet designs in the past at the team’s stadium training sessions, will not appear on Sunday.

The Bills host the Patriots at 4:25 p.m. ET after Monday’s game was pushed back from its previously scheduled start time of 1 p.m. on Sunday. For the Bills, this is the first of three straight AFC East games to end the season. The team ends the regular season by first being the host team New York Jets and then faced the Patriots again in New England.
