The Hundred: Lisa Keightley to take charge of Norther Superchargers women

“Our goal is to win the competition, and with the core squad we are working to retain before the deadline, along with the players we will acquire through The Hundred draft, I am confident we have the potential to achieve this.”

The Superchargers team narrowly missed qualifying for the eliminator this year, finishing as runners-up in 2023.

Under Keightley, England reached the semi-finals of the 2020 Women’s T20 World Cup and the 2022 Women’s World Cup final.

They were also badly beaten in the 2022 Women’s Ashes and failed to medal at the Commonwealth Games.

Since leaving England, she has served as head coach of Sydney Thunder in the Women’s Big Bash in Australia and as an assistant coach with Delhi Capitals in the Women’s Premier League in India.

Keightley played nine Tests and 82 one-day internationals for Australia and was the first woman to score a century at Lord’s.
