Everton have signed France forward Kelly Gago from Nantes for an undisclosed fee.
The 25-year-old will join the Blues when the Women’s Super League transfer window opens on January 1, subject to international clearance.
Gago is the club’s first signing under new ownership, the Friedkin Group, who took over on Thursday.
“I liked playing for Everton because that’s what I liked [manager] brian [Sorensen] to say and how his team is playing,” Gago said.
“The way they attack as one and defend as one is what made me sign and [I want] To help achieve the club’s goals.”
