Mohamed Salah (captain), Liverpool, £13.4m – away to Tottenham
We return to the Egyptian King as captain this week.
He failed to score for the first time since Game Week Seven last week, and he still had an assist.
I was watching Tottenham 3-4 Chelsea a few weeks ago and pictured the same scene on Sunday.
Spurs can’t defend and get hurt at the back – the perfect stage for Salah.
Cole Palmer (vice-captain), Chelsea, £11.2m – away to Everton
Everton put in a great defensive performance at Arsenal last time out, but on another day they could well have been beaten.
Conceded less than a quarter of possession and 13 shots.
If it plays out similarly against Chelsea – in red-hot form – then Palmer and co could have a field day.
Amad Diallo, Manchester United, £5.2m – Bournemouth home
We got a flashback to the last time he was in Team of the Week and see what he did in the Manchester Derby!
Diallo is emerging as a star and he also comes in bargains.
Excluding players with less playing time, only Saka (0.79) has more assists per 90 minutes this season than Diallo (0.71).
Noni Maduke, Chelsea, £6.3m – away from Everton
The England winger was unlucky to get just one assist against Brentford last week.
He had seven shots, six in the box and one big chance.
I’ll go to Chelsea to beat Everton this week and Maduke midfielder outside of Palmer – with the best chance of double figures.
He has three this season and two of them were away from home.
Emile Smith Rowe, Fulham, £5.5m – Southampton home
Alex Iwobi or Smith Rowe – one of them was in this team and there is little to choose between the budget duo.
Smith Rowe has three goals to expected goals of 2.2, while Iwobi has massively over-performed with five goals to 1.9xG.
That’s enough to cross my fingers and take a punt on ESR.
