Another golf ball joins the Chrome Tour family (which currently includes Chrome Review and Chrome X Review) and two basic items in the company’s ball offer have been changed for 2025.
The Carlsbad-based company today announced the Chrome Tour Triple Diamond golf ball and the 2025 ERC Soft and Supersoft balls.
Triple Diamond Chrome Tour
The Chrome Tour Triple Diamond combines Chrome Tour and Chrome Tour X as a better golf ball for players that flies lower, is harder and spins lower on full shots than Chrome Tour X.
Chrome Tour Triple Diamond will be available at retail on January 31st for $54.99 per dozen.
Eric Lober, our senior director of golf ball research and development: “It’s basically a lower spin Chrome Tour X. It’s really designed for the player who is looking for low spin and the benefits of low spin for this type of player, a player who spins the ball too much. This is a golf ball that will help reduce spin, optimize trajectory, maximize distance and be more consistent upwind. It’s actually a golf ball using our Chrome Tour platform with technologies. It starts with Hyper Fast Soft Core. This ball will be fast, fast off the tee. You’ll feel it. It has a smooth Tour arrow and a proprietary surface geometry designed for low spin. Seriously, this golf ball will last a long time off the tee. It will be a great feeling. It will have a urethane cover that will ensure excellent spin on the green. And it has consistency.”
ERC soft: According to the company, Callaway’s new ERC Soft tire delivers even greater ball speed and softness thanks to its Hyper Elastic SoftFast core and High-Speed casing.
ERC Soft will be available at retail on January 31st for $39.99 per dozen.
supersoft: Callaway’s best-selling design has been reconfigured for greater speed and softness, with designers’ attention focused on cover and core designs.
Supersoft will be available at retail on January 31st for $24.99 per dozen.
