Ann: What’s going on with Cloe Kelly? He is very good to sit on the bench.
Emma: My information on the future of Cloe Kelly is as it was a few weeks ago. I believe Kelly is still very interested in a step – probably LOAN – because he wants the time of game to secure his place in the England squad in 2025 Euro.
Manchester City was always reluctant to beat him to the WSL opponent, made Loan more difficult and let him go somewhere else with their current injury. I am not aware of anything changed to that front but this is definitely a situation that I am closely monitoring.
Laila: Kelly to Manchester United, even in the power of United, what does it mean by gaining strength where he can play potentially?
Emma: I personally had no interest in Kelly from United. However, I agree – United have a lot of aggressive options and I cannot see the benefits for any part of the party.
Robin: I think Brighton would be a great step for the chloe. She got Nikita Paris and Frank Kirby there, they would like to have good links up and she’ll get the minutes she needed. Do you agree?
Emma: I agreed to Robin and the sources told me at the beginning of the month that Brighton was one of the clubs in search of Cloe Kelly’s situation. However, I do not believe that something has moved from it.
Brighton still wants to see if they can bring the top player to a good deal. They are usually happy in their squad, so they are looking at players who can take them to the next level. I will not deny Brighton in some late business, but I’m not aware of anything at present.
