How does the draw work
The Champions League knockout phase is bound to have some confusion around the play-off draw.
So we’ve tried my best to explain it for you …
The draws will be included in the draw that reaches the ninth to 24th place in the league – which is now decided.
These 16 groups are about to be divided into two groups, the parties are ninth to 16th grade and parties are unchanged from 17th to 24th.
The seed parties will then join the other seeds, while on the other hand it is the same in the crude group of the parties.
Thus, the 24th and 23th will form a pair, to form a pair of 22th and 21st …
The pair will be placed in a total of eight bulls that will adjust their league phase rankings, so the 23th and 24th ranked teams will be in the 23/24 marked bull.
This draw will begin with the invisible parties, taking a ball from the bowl related to them and that time will be placed on one side of the bracket.
In this new format, there is a blue bracket and a silver bracket and the pairs will already be given pre -made spaces (as shown by the above figure).
The first teams painted from crude bowls will be on the Silver Side and the second takes place in blue.
Once on the 23th and the 24th to the 17th and 18th, all the pairs and the drawing and the play-off brackets in their places, the draw with the drawn parties continues.
In the same fashion, the seeded parties will be painted from their corresponding bowls and placed in their predetermined places, the first to draw in silver and the second of blue.
The drawing will end with the seeds that are drawn to the ninth or tenth and face the finisher in the 23th or 24th place respectively in slotting.
Seed clubs will play their play-offs away and the first leg of the second leg at home.
