England midfielder Georgia Stanway Euro has done knee surgery six months before 2025.
His club Bayern Munich confirmed in a statement on Thursday that he would be missing for “several months”.
Stanway had torn the lateral ligament on his right knee during a training session this week and had surgery on Wednesday.
England won the Euro 2022 and the 2023 woman started the World Cup final as the 26 -year -old started every match of the year.
He joined Bayern Munich seven years after seven years in Manchester City, scoring 67 67 goals as the top goalkeeper of the club in the 86 presence.
Lynesis returned to the action in February while traveling to Portugal before hosting the world champions Spain in the Women’s Nations League.
Sarina Wigman is currently unavailable with forward Lauren Hem and defender Alex Greenwood.
