Former world champion Michael Smith says he suffers from arthritis in his right hand.
Smith who won the title of World Champion in 2023, He issued a statement after he was knocked out of world masters in Milton Keynes on Thursday by Dutchman Danny Noppert.
“I broke both my wrists when I was 19, and now I catch up with me, and now I suffer from arthritis on the right,” said Anglaian Smith.
“This is not a sympathy or a shout for help. It all allows you to do it. I have never given up or refrained from pain. “
Smith, who throws his right hand, hit a nine person immediately after Michael Van Gerwen just left one in what was described as the biggest leg of darts, winning the final of the world championship in 2023.

A 34-year-old from St Helens, called “Bully Boy”, also said that he had suffered from shoulder injury for six weeks, which required physiotherapy every two to three days.
“I see a specialist on Monday, and when I know you will know what will happen in the next month,” he said.
“I will never let anything overcome me and promise me that I will come back very, very quickly.”
