Cobra Golf DS ADAPT Fairway Woods Review

Next to the new one DS-ADAPT drivers, Cobra Golf has released the exciting Fairway Woods for 2025 with the same innovative technologies as the drivers, including FUTUREFIT33, ADAPTIVE WEIGHTING with updated PWR-BRIDGE technology, HOT FACE and CARBON FIBER CROWN.

Golfshake equipment expert, Ryan Rastallreviewed three models (LS, X and MAX) to see how they performed during tests conducted at his Indoor Performance Center in Howley Hall Golf Club in Leeds and revealing what type of golfer is best suited to each club.

DS-ADAPT LS Titanium fairway

The new LS (£349) has been designed to provide the lowest spin and highest speed in the DS-ADAPT range. The titanium body combined with the lightweight carbon fiber crown provides significant weight savings by allowing 60g of tungsten (34g internal tungsten and two 13g external weights) to be positioned low and forward for lower spin and the highest ball speed of the three models . The larger and thinner titanium face insert is optimized with variable thickness HOT Face technology for improved launch and increased ball speed on off-center shots. The LS model is constructed from the deepest surface of the three new DS-ADAPT fairways and features FUTUREFIT33 technology, providing 33 combinations of lofts and lies for maximum ball flight tuning and a perfect fit. Each fairway is equipped with SMARTPAD technology, which keeps the club face in place regardless of loft or orientation settings.

DS-ADAPT X fairway

DS-ADAPT X (£289) delivers the best combination of high speed and forgiveness of the three new fairway models. The X model uses a center-to-front PWR-BRIDGE to reduce spin while providing improved playability and a high launch. The shape of the X is slightly shallower than the LS, which allows for a higher launch and slightly more spin.

DS-ADAPT MAX fairway

The MAX (£289) has been designed to provide maximum forgiveness of draw error on the DS-ADAPT fairway line and features two separate, movable weights. You can place more weight at the back for added stability, or at the heel for extra patch correction. The MAX fairway is designed with the shallowest surface of the three models to promote a higher launch and greater forgiveness.
