Coppa Italia bracket update: Milan get Roma, Lazio waiting for Inter – Football Italia

Three of the four quarter-final match-ups are now after Wednesday evening’s conclusion Italian Cup Round of 16 matches, Roma set for a game against Milan at the San Siro, while Atalanta travel to Bologna.

Atlanta rose first Wednesday night, The Serie B side beat Cesena 6-1 at Gewis Stadium. Davide Zappacosta, Charles de Ketelare, Lazar Samardzic and Marco Brescianini scored for Gian Piero Gasperini.

Then came Roma, K 4-1 winning record against Sampdoria Thanks to Artem Dovbik’s brace and individual efforts from Tommaso Baldanzi and Eldor Shomurodov at the Stadio Olimpico, as well as great performances from wing-backs Alexis Selemikars and Angelino.

After Wednesday night’s match, there are no Serie B teams left in the competition.

Sitting in 12th place in Serie A, Roma are currently the lowest ranked team remaining in the bracket.

Coppa Italia: Quarter-final draw as it stands

Bologna will host Atalanta in the quarter-finals in February.

Milan host Roma at the San Siro.

Juventus host Empoli after a 4-0 win over Cagliari on Tuesday night.

Lazio are the only remaining quarter-finalists after beating Napoli 3-1 in their round of 16 match. They will face the winner of Inter-Udinese on Thursday night.
